This week I had the pleasure of speaking with Jessica Schaefer. Founder and CEO of Bevel. During her time with Point72 as VP of External Affairs, she identified the opportunity to fuse her storied professional experience in brand building and reputation management with media relations to strategically and purposefully fuel awareness. Now, Jessica is responsible for the communications and public relations strategies for a robust portfolio of clients, including leaders in fintech, venture capital, big data, and A.I., etc.. Having launched her public relations consultancy in 2017 to address an industry void, Jessica serves as a bridge between clients and stakeholder communities, leveraging traditional mediums and breaking through the new age media, which we discuss in this episode.
